OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 233! Wholesome organic molasses review!


Hi everyone: It's day 233 of omad! It's my keto day! Today's meal was asparagus with chicken wings. I seasoned my chicken with salt, pepper, paprika and tex mex. I then used coconut flour as a breading for my chicken. Then I baked them. I added coarse salt, coconut oil, and garlic to my asparagus and grilled it for 10 minutes in the oven. My keto dinner was delicious. I am looking forward to my carnivore meals for the next five days. My husband loves the carnivore diet days too. He asked me today if we will be having steak all week long. He was so happy when I said yes. I asked him aren't you getting sick of steak yet? He replied, "Baby I could never get sick of eating steak!"


I have just uploaded a new video. This video is about Wholesome Blackstrap molasses I have been using it for a year now to reserve my greying hair. At first, I was skeptical but now I am a believer. 

Blackstrap molasses is a byproduct of sugar cane’s refining process. Blackstrap molasses is touted as a superfood. Sugar cane is mashed to create juice and then boiled once to create cane syrup. A second boiling creates molasses. After this syrup has been boiled a third time, a dark viscous liquid emerges known as blackstrap molasses. It has the lowest sugar content of any sugar cane product. Blackstrap molasses is unlike refined sugar, which has zero nutritional value. Blackstrap molasses contains vital vitamins and minerals, such as iron, calcium, magnesium, vitamin B6, and selenium. 

Benefits of blackstrap molasses: 
Keto friendly sweetener: If you are on a ketogenic diet and have a sweet tooth, you are in luck. Blackstrap molasses may be digested more slowly, which may help stabilize blood sugar. You can use blackstrap molasses in baking sweet treats.

Great for your bones: Blackstrap molasses contains both calcium and magnesium so it can help you guard against osteoporosis. About 5 tablespoons of blackstrap molasses contain 50 percent of the recommended daily allowance of calcium, 95 percent of iron, and 38 percent of magnesium.

Anemia remedy: People with anemia — a condition where your body doesn’t have enough red blood cells — often feel tired and weak. One type of anemia is caused by a lack of iron in the diet. Blackstrap molasses is a good source of iron. About 5 tablespoons of blackstrap molasses contain 95 percent of your daily allowance of iron.

High in Potassium: Try mixing blackstrap molasses in with baked beans, or even use it as a basting glaze on chicken, turkey, or other meats. A spoonful straight can also give you a quick boost.

OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 232!


Hi everyone: Only two more days until March Break ends. I have enjoyed a great week with my daughter. Tonight we thought we would end it our great March Break with a movie. So we went to see Tomb Raider. Before going to the movie I had a delicious keto meal. It was chicken and broccoli. Later that night at the movie I had popcorn with butter. Since starting Keto October 2, 2017, I have tried to eat clean. However, sometimes I think it is ok to have balance. I really hate depriving myself of something. When I do I just eat more of it. I had a couple of handfuls of popcorn. Then I was done. When I do go off my diet, I don't beat myself up over it anymore. I just take it one day at a time. I remind myself that what I was doing before wasn't working for me. Meaning eating from the time that I woke up to the time I went to sleep only caused me to gain weight. I also reminded myself that when I do not eat clean my acid reflux returns. Just the memory of that just put things into perspective. I am not only eating this way to maintain my weight but I am also doing this for my health.

OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 231!


Hi everyone: It's day 231 of omad! Today's delicious dinner was rib eye steak and eggs. I also made about a half a pound of bacon. I'm trying to add more fat to my diet. One of my subscribers suggested that adding more fats to my diet would help with my brittle nails. I'm giving it a try. This steak was extremely fatty. I am looking forward to the weekend. My daughter returns to school on Monday. We had a fab March Break together. Starting tomorrow I will have two days of keto omads!

OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 230!


Hi everyone: It's day 230 of omad! Today's meal was steak and scrambled eggs. This meal was so yummy! 

I have uploaded a new video. I have been using the supplement MSM for about a month now. I used it because it was recommended by one of my youtube subscribers. MSM has worked wonders for my nails. I have seen improvement in my nails and I am really happy about that. 
MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is a source of sulfur, one of the most abundant minerals in the human body. Sulfur is essential for many body functions. It is critical to the production of healthy collagen -- the building block of nails, skin, hair, joints and other connective tissues. I have been taking one 1000 mg capsules twice daily. OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 229!

Hi everyone: It's day 229 of omad! Tonight's dinner was only meat! I had steak and I made my daughter and husband chicken wings. I used my George Foreman to grill up my steak. I love this grill so much. I keep it right on my counter because it takes up such little space.

OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 228!

Hi everyone: It's day 228 of omad! Today was a busy day! It's March Break for us here in Canada! I woke up early and went for my hour-long walk. Then I spent the day with my daughter. It was difficult not to eat while out with her. I would say that social situations like this one are the most difficult. I fasted for 22 hours today and made steak for dinner. I had bacon for dessert. We had planned to see a movie. However, nothing interested us. I had planned to not have popcorn and to sip water. These events can be difficult. However, I'm happy I didn't have to deal with the smell and the temptation of popcorn today. If you are home with your kids, I hope you are enjoying your March Break!

OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 227!

Hi everyone: It's day 227 of omad! During my five days of carnivore. I plan to eat a steak each day. However, Tuesday and Thursday my family will eat steak as well. My husband could eat steak daily but my daughter has stated that she is sick of steak. So today steak for me and I will make something boring for my daughter. Maybe mac and cheese. I cut up my steak into strips and did a fast fry. It was delish. I also had 5 pieces of oven baked bacon. What a delish meal. I'm back to walking. I woke up early and when for a hour walk. Then I spent some time with my daughter. It is March Break. I am lucky that I work from home and I can divide my time between my time, work and family. It is a blessing.

OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 226!

Hi everyone: It's day 226 of omad! It's also Sunday!!! I love my weekends. Today's meal was wings, asparagus and for dessert blackberries. I made my wings a little different this time. I seasoned them with salt, pepper and tex mex. Then I used coconut flour as a substitute for shake and bake. I put about a half cup of coconut flour in a large ziplock back. I added the wings two at a time. Shock the bag to get the wings covered in coconut flour. Then repeated. I baked the wings at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Then I flipped them over. I baked them for a total of 40 minutes. If you like your wings crispy and tasty. I suggest that you try this method. They were so yummy! This was a delicious meal. I didn't experience any digestive issues. I kept my portion of protein high and my veggies and fruit low. I stayed on track today with my keto meal. Tomorrow I am looking forward to a carnivore meal. Actually, for the next five days, my omads will be carnivore meals meaning only meat.

OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 225! Keto at a Japanese restaurant!

Hi everyone: It's day 225 of omad! It's also the weekend!!! Today was suppose to be a keto day but it was not! My day's intention started out with a keto meal in mind but my family wanted to eat at a Japenese restaurant. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box which consisted of miso soup, salad, teriyaki chicken, rice, and shrimp tempura. Something surprising happened...I deviated from my plan and the world did not end. I enjoyed the meal and I am realizing that it is ok. I ate everything except for the rice. Rice is not an unnecessary filler food for me. Note to my keto family. Do not eat at a Japenese restaurant if you are new to keto. There are zero options and too many temptations. Also zero substitutions. I hope you are all having a great weekend!

OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 224!

Hi everyone: It's day 224 of omad! Some of you know that I have been using Organic Wholesome Molasses to reverse my grey hair. My journey started March 3, 2017 - I stopped taking the molasses while I did my carnivore diet because I wanted to be strictly carnivore. So I decided I would tack another month onto my molasses journey to be fair. I noticed that my hair did not become grayer. It actually slowed the graying process down. Many youtube videos stated that molasses actually reversed grey hair. One of my youtuber suggested that I try adding MSM.


What is MSM? MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) is a natural form of organic sulfur that is necessary for collagen synthesis and is very important in building the sulfur amino acids methionine and cysteine. MSM is also a natural antiseptic. MSM is the nutrient form of sulfur. MSM is found in many common foods such as fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, milk, and eggs. This substance plays a critical role in the production of energy in every cell of the body. It aids in circulation, stimulates the immune system, increases tissue oxygenation, and has vital anti-aging effects.

MSM provides sulfur, and sulfur is required for the healthy growth of collagen and keratin. Keratin is the fibrous scleroprotein that can be found in the outer layer of the skin, hair, and nails, and so, healthy keratin means healthy hair. Sulfur can also improve the circulation of blood in the scalp, which can further promote hair growth. Apart from ensuring healthy growth of hair, sulfur can make the hair glossy or increase its brilliance. This is how MSM improves hair growth and this is the reason why it is included in many hair loss therapies. To enhance the effects of methylsulfonylmethane for hair growth, While taking MSM supplement, it is also important to drink more water. To sum up I have added the MSM supplement to my grey hair reversal journey. As for what I had for my omad! I enjoyed a beautiful tenderloin steak with scrambled eggs and it was delicious.
