OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 150! Carnivore diet FAIL!

Hi: It's day 150 of omad! I'm so happy to be done with the carnivore diet! I'm a perfectionist so I must admit that it is really difficult for me to admit failure. Yesterday I bought my keto friendly veggies and fruit. I couldn't wait to chow down! However, I wanted to complete the carnivore diet. So I didn't touch the fruit or vegetables. As I mentioned in my blog yesterday, I was excited to weight myself but disappointed to see that I had gained back the 2.2 pounds that I lost and a bit more. So I am right back to 133 pounds. Sigh...So no more carnivore diet for me. I promised myself that I would not binge but get back on that keto train. I continued my intermittent fasting which is not a problem for me. My body has completely adapted. I had beef and broccoli for dinner and berries for dessert! I really missed vegetables and fruit. I was surprised that I didn't reap any of the benefits that my Instagram friends had mentioned. Why did I gain weight!? Even the woman that lead the challenge herself admitted that she wasn't strictly carnivore for the full 10 days. Could that have been why I failed? I wasn't zero carb either. I love challenges but this was a tough one. I think the timing of it was not great either. It is the holiday season. There are so many parties and the temptation is everywhere. If I do try this again, timing will be everything! If you have succeeded with this carnivore lifestyle, I would love to know. Please leave me a comment.

Please note: I took one teaspoon of black seed oil and in the morning and before going to bed. I also drank two glasses of apple cider vinegar water. I added two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to ten ounces of water.
