I did a keto diet challenge for a month just to see if I could actually handle this new low carb lifestyle. Not sure what keto is? The ketogenic diet is a high-fat, adequate-protein, low-carbohydrate diet that in medicine is used primarily to treat difficult-to-control epilepsy in children. The diet forces the body to burn fats rather than carbohydrates.
One of the frustrating things about keto is the lack of snacks in our typical grocery store that are keto friendly. Yes, there are many keto and low carb snack recipes online but what about the busy moms that are looking for convenience? I'm happy to see that companies are now helping with this. I did some research and found the Low Carb Grocery. I could have ordered online but customer service is really important to me. So I went to the store to check things out. Please note: I took one teaspoon of black seed oil and in the morning and before going to bed. I also drank two glasses of apple cider vinegar water. I added two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to ten ounces of water.
