OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 352! Carnivore Diet Diary Day 7!

Hi friends: It's day 352 of omad! This morning my husband and I went grocery shopping. We bought mostly meat. We only buy steak when it is on special. We are always on the hunt for ribeyes, tenderloin, platinum tenderloin and T-bone. We have yet to buy any Porterhouse. Now that is an expensive cut of steak. So for a 4 pack of steak, we usually get it for around 14.00 on sale and when not on sale the cost would be between 40.00-50.00 for the same pack. We buy at least 6 packs when it's on sale. This week we got some beautiful ribeyes. 

What else was in our grocery basket? Croissants, cashews, oranges, mangos, strawberries, jerk sauce, teriyaki sauce, chocolate milk, butter, halo top peanut butter swirl ice cream, Tim Horton's pods, S Pelligrino water. Don't worry none of that is for me. Mostly for my daughter and husband but the water was for me. If I was just shopping for me and my husband it would be all meat and oils. My daughter has zero interest in the carnivore diet. However, as a family, we have had some dinners that have been all meat. When I make ribeyes, I usually add a side of string beans or broccoli to my daughter plate. She eats all the meat first. Then can barely finish the veggies. When I was growing up my mom always encouraged me to eat my veggies first. 

I opened my window a little earlier today because we had a lunch date with my mother in law. I had a coffee. My mother in law had homemade cookies and coffee. My daughter and husband both had a chicken bento box.

We had some plantains that were perfectly ripe. So I decided to fry them up and my husband had them with his jerk chicken. I didn't want to throw them out. I was so tempted to eat them but I made a decision that I would do the carnivore diet until Wednesday. We are going on our road trip starting that day. I wanted to enjoy all of the beautiful foods in Montreal. I will fast for 20 hours and I will consume all of my calories at dinner. I will not be as strict with what I eat. I will have carbs and desserts. When I return on Sunday I will go back to my old routine. 

Dinner: jerk chicken, S Pelligrino water, coffee with cream and molasses.

Fasting time: 20 hours

Feasting: 4 hours

Mood: I'm happy. I had a good day!

Please note: I took one teaspoon of black seed oil and in the morning and before going to bed. I also drank two glasses of apple cider vinegar water. I added two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to ten ounces of water.
