OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 27! 48 HOUR FAST!


Hi everyone: It's Day 27 of my omad experiment! Last night at my mother in laws birthday dinner, I ate too much cake. I woke up not feeling too great and I made the decision to start fresh. So why not attempt a 48 hour fast. I have seen keto and omad fam on Instagram doing them.  They rave about the amazing benefits. I don't know if I can really do this but I love a challenge. I really want to see if I can go 48 hours without eating food. I decided to drink water only because I love coffee and I don't think I can go without adding cream and blackstrap molasses to it. I think the cream and the molasses would break that fast. The first 24 hours was a breeze. 


According to livestrong.com, "One of the most striking benefits of a 48-hour water fast is rapid weight loss. Your body sheds pounds by eliminating excess waste from the digestive tract and burning fat stores. Weight loss of 3 or 4 lb. is typical, according to Fitness Through Fasting. Dr. Ben Kim reports that a water fast boosts energy levels, promotes clear skin, improves cardiovascular functioning, relieves anxiety, regulates digestive activity and decreases body pains."

Please note: I took one teaspoon of black seed oil and in the morning and before going to bed. I also drank two glasses of apple cider vinegar water. I added two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to ten ounces of water.
