OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 42! ANOTHER 48 HOUR FAST!


Hi everyone: Currently doing a 48 hour fast. This is 28 hours of 48 hours. My second 48 hour fast this week. Just testing myself. I wanted to see if I could do this. Also, I love the energy I feel when I do extended fasts. The energy is unreal. What a wonderful way to end the month of August! Whohoo!

OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 41! BACK ON TRACK!


Hi everyone: It's Day 41 of omad and I had a serious craving for bread. I went to my local Metro and bought and Italian bread. My daughter loves this bread too. When she was little she would call it fresh bread.

Here is what I ate today!
Dinner: homemade chicken soup and italian bread

Dessert: grapes

BACK ON TRACK! ANOTHER 48 HOUR FAST COMPLETED!


Hi everyone: Its Day 40! I broke my 48 hours fast with this delicious dinner. So happy to be back on track. Back to one meal a day for me. Once you find something that works for you. Why not stick with it?

Here is what I ate today: 

Dinner: baked chicken and salad

Dessert: grapes, ginger chai tea

OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 39! BACK ON TRACK!



Hi everyone: It's Day 39 of omad. I'm back home from a great mini-vacation. Now back to my routine. Starting this week with a 48 hour fast. I'm 27 hours in and starting to feel good again. I really missed my 23:1 Doing my fast with black seed oil. I'm back to drinking a gallon of water a day also. It was difficult to drink lots of water while on vacation. I had a great time in Montreal but breaking my routine did upset my stomach. Now back to giving my body a break. I'm hoping that doing this 48 hour fast will be a reset of sorts.

VACATION MODE! BREAK FROM OMAD Day 2


Hi everyone: It's technically day 40 of my omad experiment. I'm still in Montreal. This is our last day and I just had to try Montreal's famous smoked meat sandwich with poutine. I could not resist. It was delicious. I didn't stick to the one hour eating window. It was more like an 18:6 day. Tomorrow back to my regular one meal a day routine. I don't regret my decision to take a break. We will be checking out of our hotel tomorrow. It was a fantastic stay at the Montreal Universal. Check out my review below.

VACATION MODE! BREAK FROM Intermittent fasting!


Hi everyone: This morning I decided that I would take a break from omad. I really felt that since we were on vacation. I wanted to experience all of the wonderful foods of Montreal such as poutine, chocolate, and smoked meat. I'm not sure when we will visit again. Here is the damage.

Breakfast: egg bacon wrap and coffee from Tim Hortons

Lunch: shared the following with my family: wings, french fries, poutine, and salad

Dessert: Massive chocolate ice cream

Intermittent fasting DAY 38! My first OMAD dilemma!


Hi everyone: It's Day 38 of Omad! I'm experiencing my first one meal a day dilemma. I have planned my mini vacation with my family for months now. My daughter and husband eat 3 meals a day with snacks. I think the reason that I have been successful is that I have kept myself away from temptation. Things are going to get tricky. There are so many delicious foods that I want to try in Montreal. However, we will only be there for 2 days. I may have to take a break from omad while in Montreal. My fear is that I will binge. My only deviation from omad was a cup of coffee with cream during our drive. I love road trips. Please pray for me.

Dinner: cheese pizza, vanilla ice cream

Hi everyone: This is Day 37 of my one meal a day journey. I enjoyed my meal today, However, I couldn't finish. Next time I will make only one egg.  One egg was so filling and I also feel that I am still feeling the effects of my 3-day fasting. 

Dinner: egg puffs, bacon, and beans

Dessert: cantaloupe, coffee with cream and blackstrap molasses

OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 36! 72 hour fast completed!


Hi everyone: I did it! It completed my first 72 hour fast. I am truly amazed at what the body is capable of. At hour 62, I actually stopped thinking about my upcoming meal. When it was time to break my fast my body was only interested in the fruits. I felt myself craving fresh fruit such as apples, cantaloupe, and melon. However, I anticipated that I would be starving so I prepared a huge meal.  I was surprised that I couldn't couldn't finish my dinner. I have went 3 days with food. How odd! I'm really looked forward to my noodles. At this 3 day mark, I felt so good physically and mentally.  

Hmmm... I am really happy that I accomplished this. I feel great and extremely energetic. The encouragement that my instagram friends gave me was amazing. It really helped me to do this. I didn't feel hungry especially on the 3rd day. My only obstacle was my programming/fears about extended fasting and what I feared "might" happen. I drank lots of water. I didn't exercise on day 1 and 2 but I did go for a brisk walk today - day 3. I am down 2.2 pounds. 


I did it. It completed my first 72 hour fast. I am truly amazed at what the body is capable of. At hour 62 I actually stopped thinking about my up coming meal. OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 35! 48 hours of my 72 hour fast!


Hi everyone: I am 24 hours in. I can't believe that I have fasted for 2 days. So many fears I had. I thought I would pass out or starve. lol. I had so many crazy fears. Only 24 more hours to go!!!! I thought that I would feel exhausted and not be able to get out of bed. I'm feeling great so far. I'm 2lbs down but I think it's mostly water. I have not felt hungry. I think because my tummy is constantly filled with water. I haven't exercised today. I have kept extremely busy and am drinking tons of water. I received so many well wishes from my new and old friends on instagram. Thank you all for your good wishes. Your well wishes have helped so much. You have no idea. The thought of tomorrows omad is keeping me going. I think I can do this. Actually, I know I can do this! Boom!

I EAT ONE MEAL A DAY! - DAY 34! 24 hours of my 72 hour fast!


Hi everyone: It's Monday August 21st... Today is #eclipse2017 I am attempting my very first 72 hour fast which started yesterday. I'm a pretty determined person. So I think I can do this. I am on 24 hours of the 72 hour challenge. I am only having apple cider vinegar, black seed oil, tea, and water today. Looking forward to Wed August 23rd. 

Why am I doing this?
I really wanted to challenge myself. I'm scared but I think it's time to push myself. If I can do this, then I can do anything.

I EAT ONE MEAL A DAY! - DAY 33!


Hi everyone: It's Day 33 of my omad experiment! So far I have lost 17 lbs.  I also wanted to share that you can eat whatever you want once a day and still lose weight. I am NOT counting calories. I see many people talking about shirataki noodles. They are very low calorie and filling. They take on the flavour of whatever they are cooked with. These were delicious and extremely filling. 

Dinner: 
shirataki noodles, chicken, and salad

coffee with cream and blackstrap molasses

OMAD Intermittent fasting DAY 365! COMPLETED! WHAT'S NEXT???

Hi friends: It's 365 days of omad! I did it! I ate one meal a day for one year!!! During this year I did do some extended fasting...
