Hi everyone: It's Day 116 of my one meal a day journey and Day 46 of keto. I'm wondering if I am doing too much. I love the one meal a day but the keto is so restrictive. My protocol has changed from 23:1 to 22:2 meaning I used to fast 23 hours and I had an eating window of one hour. Now I fast for 22 hours and have an eating window of 2 hours. Two hours is plenty of time to eat my meal. I wonder if the keto is really necessary. I think that I am getting fantastic benefits from the 22:2. I may just stick with the keto for now and not be so strict. I may try the lazy keto.
What is keto? According to rule.me.com "A keto diet is well known for being a low carb diet, where the body produces ketones in the liver to be used as energy. It’s referred to as many different names – ketogenic diet, low carb diet, low carb high fat ( ), etc.
Here is what I ate today!
Dinner: chicken thighs with zucchini and mushrooms
Snack plate: Joseph's flatbread, cheese, and moon cheese
Dessert: coffee with cream and molasses

Please note: I took one teaspoon of black seed oil and in the morning and before going to bed. I also drank two glasses of apple cider vinegar water. I added two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to ten ounces of water.
